State Police Investigating Attempted Luring In Youngwood

YOUNGWOOD (KDKA)- Pennsylvania State Police are looking into the attempted luring of a teenager in Westmoreland County.

It happened Friday evening around 5:45 p.m. in Youngwood.

Police say a 17-year-old girl was leaving work at the Youngwood Corner Market when she was approached by a man in a pickup truck.

The man tried to talk the girl into getting into his truck as he drown down Depot Street. The girl just kept walking and the man eventually drove off.

Police say the suspect is described as a white man in his 40's or 50's. He had greyish curly hair, square glasses and was clean shaven. He was wearing a blue T-shirt.

The man was driving a white pickup truck with a single cab and an open bed. It was either a Ford Ranger or a Chevy S10.
