Penn Hills Boarding House Fire Sends 2 To Hospital
PENN HILLS (KDKA) -- Two men were taken to the hospital after fire broke out this afternoon at a boarding house in Penn Hills.
The fire was first reported around 4 p.m. along Hilda Street.
According to officials at the scene, the fire was confined to one room.
There were six occupants in the home.
Two men were taken to West Penn Hospital for significant smoke inhalation.
No firefighters were injured.
There is no word yet on what sparked the fire.
