Man Found Injured & Unconscious Along Road In Plum, Possibly Hit By Car

PLUM (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a man was found injured and unconscious on the side of the road in Plum Borough.

According to police, a passing motorist spotted the man in the 1600 block of Greensburg Pike around 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

When police arrived, they found a 36-year-old white male had suffered multiple injuries to his head, neck and torso. The man was unconscious and police believe the injuries are consistent with being hit by a car.

According to friends and family, the man does not own a car and walks that route frequently.

The man was found wearing a camouflage coat and black pants with a Steelers ear warmer/headband. He also had a blue and yellow backpack.

At this time, the man has not yet regained consciousness.
