Gnomes Evicted From Pennsylvania State Park

NEWPORT, Pa. (KDKA)- A Pennsylvania state park has evicted a group of gnomes.

According to Pennlive.com, the management at Little Buffalo State Park gave permission to Steve Hoke to create the mini gnome village back in December.

In total, Hoke made 38 tiny houses in tree roots, logs and on stumps in the forest.

Little Buffalo State Park is in Newport, about 25 miles from Harrisburg.

According to Pennlive.com, Park Manager Jason Baker gave the okay originally, but now has decided the homes could affect wildlife in the park.

Hoke was told to remove his little homes by Feb. 29. He removed them all on Monday.

Several nearby towns have offered to house those homes in their local parks.
