Pittsburgh Reality TV Star Maddie Ziegler Named Judge On Dance Competition Show

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- She got her big break on the popular reality show "Dance Moms," now a Pittsburgh girl will be making and breaking other young dancers' dreams.

Murrysville native Maddie Ziegler has been named a judge for the upcoming season of "So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation," according to Entertainment Weekly.

In addition to being featured on "Dance Moms," Ziegler shot to popularity when singer Sia featured her in her music videos for "Chandelier," "Elastic Heart" and "Big Girls Cry," and also took her to the Grammys.

Last year, Ziegler told KDKA's Kristine Sorensen, "It's just crazy. I never thought I'd be doing this, performing on so many shows."
