PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- You can pick up a sweet deal today at area Dairy Queen restaurants.
It’s DQ’s annual Free Cone Day, which helps raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Donations will be collected at DQ locations. Funds will help save and improve the lives of kids treated at 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada, including Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
All donations collected will stay in the communities in which they were raised.
Last year, a total of $140,000 was raised during Free Cone Day.
Customers can claim a free small vanilla soft-serve cone at participating Dairy Queen locations. Last year, more than 1,300 cones were served per store.
You can find a full list of participating locations by going to Dairy Queen’s website.
