Woman Killed In Butler County Single-Vehicle Accident

CENTER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One woman was killed when her car went off the road and struck a telephone pole in Butler County Monday morning.

According to police, the accident happened in the 300 block of Sunset Driver in Center Township around 2:30 a.m.

27-year-old Nicole Little Dove Boyle went off the road and hit a telephone pole and several trees. The car eventually came to rest in Babette Stewart's yard.

Stewart said it was storming very badly when she heard the crash. Initially, she thought lightning had struck a tree.

When the daylight came later in the morning, she saw Boyle's car that was intertwined in her neighbor's trees.

Troopers said she wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was dead when emergency responders arrived.

"There was a car seat in the back seat. There was no child in it, but it makes me sad. I'm saying prayers for their family," Stewart said.
