"Cirque Du Soleil Toruk" Performers Turn Science Center "Blue" For The Day
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Cirque du Soleil never fails to enchant, and the newest show is no exception.
"Toruk - The First Flight" is a scintillating mix of acrobatics, athleticism and grace.
Borrowing heavily from James Cameron's film, "Avatar," heroes and villains with tinges of blue speak a language called "Nav'i."

"A lot of the themes we touch on in the show, as well as in the movie, are about, you know, eco-friendly themes," says spokesperson Laura Silverman. "And there's a lot of technology integrated into the show and a lot of different elements that fit really well with the Science Center."
Cirque's "Toruk" opens Wednesday night at Consol Energy Center.
