Presidential Candidates Campaign In Pittsburgh Area

PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) — The race to the presidential election in November is heating up and Pennsylvania continues to be highly-contested swing state.

Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump are expected to spend much of their time in the Pittsburgh area.

Here is the latest from the Associated Press:

Hillary Clinton is getting family support on the campaign trail in Pennsylvania this week.

Daughter Chelsea will be in Carlisle and State College on Wednesday, before heading to Scranton on Thursday.

Former President Bill Clinton will be in Pittsburgh on Friday.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump is heading to Philadelphia for the second time in less than a week.

He is holding a campaign event Wednesday at The Union League. The club has over 3,000 members, and got its start in 1862 as a patriotic society to support the Union and President Abraham Lincoln.

On Friday, the Republican presidential candidate was in the city for a private round-table discussion.

Pennsylvania is a key battleground state in the race for president.
