One Injured In Beltzhoover Shooting

BELTZHOOVER (KDKA) -- Police are investigating a shooting that happened in Beltzhoover Wednesday afternoon.

The shooting happened near the 500-block of Curtin Avenue shortly before 3 p.m.

Police say the victim was driving along Curtin Avenue and was making a right turn onto Cedarhurst Street when he was shot at least two times. He then turned left onto Cardiff Way and crashed into the side of a house, hitting the gas meter. The gas company was called out to turn off the gas.

The victim then got out of his car, ran to the front porch of a home and collapsed. He was transported to a local hospital and was last reported to be in stable condition.
