Police Investigating After Man Found Dead Outside Hill District Home
HILL DISTRICT (KDKA) - Pittsburgh Police are investigating after a man was found dead in the Hill District early Friday morning.
Police were called to a home in the 2100 block of Rose Street around 2 a.m.
When they arrived, they discovered a 47-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest. Initial reports indicated he was found on a couch on the porch of the home.
The complex was built just last year. Residents said this kind of activity doesn't typically happen.
"I didn't hear nothing at all. It was just kids and people like it normally is," one woman said.
Security cameras were installed about two months ago, which may help to identify a suspect.
The victim has not been identified.
