FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — A 23-year-old woman is facing charges after police say she crashed her car and terrorized hospital staff.
It happened on the evening of Aug. 16 near the intersection of Jennings Avenue and Third Street in Franklin Township.
State police were called on report of an erratic driver that got her 2005 Chevrolet Aveo stuck near a playground area.
Molly Pearl Varner was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and taken to the hospital.
While at Washington Health System Greene, she refused a blood draw.
Hospital staff told officers that Varner was causing a large scene, disrupting patients and “destroying items” in the ER.
She is facing DUI and disorderly conduct charges.
