Furry Tails: Bell, Jolene & Morgan Are Waiting For Forever Homes

Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I’ll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Western Pa. Humane Society

Jolene is a joyful, loving girl who just wants to find a good home! She loves to play and go for walks, so she’ll need an active family to keep her on-the-go!

Western Pa. Humane Society Pet Profile:
Sweet little Jolene is a 1-year-old Jack Russell Terrier Mix who excitedly greets everyone she meets! She may be little, but Jolene has tons of energy and loves playtime. Stuffy toys are her favorite. We think Jolene would do best in an active adult-only home, but she may be OK in a multi-dog home pending a successful meet and greet.

Animal Friends

Bell is a handsome guy who may be a little shy, but is very, very sweet! He needs a good home where he can continue to build his confidence!

Animal Friends Pet Profile:
Bell is a striking 8-year-old male tabby who has been at Animal Friends for far too long. After being rescued by our Humane Police Officers, he was extremely fearful of people at first but continues to make wonderful progress working with our dedicated staff and volunteers each day. Bell gets along very well with other cats, in fact having another confident cat to show him the ropes could greatly help his transition into a new home. Although he comes across as a shy guy, Bell has had the opportunity to bond with many of those who have spent time getting to know him. If you’re looking for a sweet cat and a long-lasting buddy, look no further than Bell!

If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15237 or call 412-847-7002. For more information on how you can adopt any of the pets at Animal Friends, visit their website here!

Animal Rescue League

Morgan is a sweet little bunny who would love a second chance at a forever home! If you have room in your heart and home for a bunny, she’d love to meet you soon!

Animal Rescue League Pet Profile:
Morgan is a young black Holland Lop who was surrendered due to one of her owners having severe allergies. Morgan is a happy rabbit and would make a wonderful addition for a first-time rabbit owner.
