Tree Falls On Vehicle, Trapping Woman In Butler County

CHICORA (KDKA) — Storms rolled through Western Pennsylvania on Thursday, knocking down wires and trees throughout the area.

In Butler County, one woman escaped what could have been a tragic situation after a tree fell on her car.

According to Inside Butler County, it happened around 11 p.m. on Chicora Road near Kittanning Pike in Fairview Township.

A large tree reportedly fell onto the woman’s, smashing through her windshield and trapping her inside.

Firefighters were able to remove the tree and remove the woman from the vehicle.

She was not injured.
