Man Caught On Tape Assaulting Child In Arnold

ARNOLD (KDKA) – Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man who was caught on camera assaulting a child.

The incident happened in a parking lot outside of the Hell Razors motorcycle shop in the 1500 block of Constitution Boulevard around noon on Tuesday in Arnold.

A man inside the business could hear screaming outside; but by the time he got to the car, it was speeding away with a bloodied and scared little boy.

"If he doesn't stop, he's going to kill the child, or bring the child up to be a monster himself," said Chad Razor, a witness to the incident.

At first, Razor says he could only hear what was going on in the parking lot.

"I start to hear these screams," said Razor. "And, I realize these curdling screams are either from a woman or someone getting really hurt. That's when I see the boy, and I realize it was a child. As I see it, I scream. He strikes the boy in the face, knocking the boy to the ground."

Security cameras on the nearby Stop 'n Go recorded the assault. As Razor ran to break it up, the man and the boy fled.

"The boy was looking at me with his little hands on the window, and his one hand was bleeding. There was blood trickling out of his mouth," Razor said. "He just stared at me, like, 'Help!' I just felt hopeless. I went numb, and I didn't even have the sense to get the license plate number."

Arnold Police are now looking for the man. They're checking with area schools to see if they can find the boy, who could be as young as 7-years-old.
