Police: Robbery Suspect Pointed Gun At Employees, Stole Cash & Phones

HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – An investigation is underway in Westmoreland County after a man entered a business, allegedly pointed a gun at two employees and stole cash and phones.

According to police, the incident happened at Mu's Massage Parlor in the 800 block of Pittsburgh Street in Hempfield Township, around 10:22 a.m. Monday.

A white male entered the business through the employee entrance. A female employee heard a door chime from the entrance and walked out back to investigate.

When the suspect spotted her, he pulled out a black handgun and demanded money. Meanwhile, a second employee heard what was going on and entered the area.

The suspect pointed the gun at the second employee and demanded money from her as well. While both victims were retrieving money, the suspect went into the office and took two iPhones from the counter.

After receiving about $200 in cash from the employees, the suspect ran out the front door and fled into the woods. Police believe he made his way to the Hillview Bowling Alley, got into a white, four-door sedan and drove away. The vehicle could be a Pontiac G6.

During the incident, the suspect covered his face with a red bandana. He was also wearing sunglasses, black boots, a grey hooded-sweatshirt and black pants.
