Feature Film Seeking Extras For Filming In Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A feature film shooting in Pittsburgh is seeking paid background extras.
"Last Flag Flying" will be filming in and around Pittsburgh from Nov. 1 through mid-December. Extras will portray traveling passengers, families, military personnel, bartenders, restaurant patrons, and other various roles.
Film Synopsis: "Set in December of 2003, 'Last Flag Flying' takes place in the early days of the Iraq war. Doc, a grieving man in his early 50s, tracks down his Vietnam buddies Sal and Mueller, for a gut-wrenching request they cannot deny. What follows is a road trip among military veterans who have to confront their past as their journey from Pennsylvania to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, evolves into a heart-breaking and humorous mission."
The film, which is based on the book of the same name, stars Steve Carrell, Bryan Cranston and Laurence Fishburne. It is being directed by the award-winning Richard Linklater.
