NYC Mayor De Blasio In Pittsburgh, Says Clinton 'Will Survive' FBI Investigation
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- When he arrived at the Hillary Clinton campaign office near the University of Pittsburgh, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio gave student volunteers a pep talk.
"I know this from every campaign I've been a part of, none of this has as much impact as what you do by knocking on those doors, by looking someone in the eyes telling them how much it matters to come out to vote," he said.
De Blasio is campaigning for Clinton in Pennsylvania because it's an important battleground state. He said college students, many of whom are voting for the first time, have an important role.
"Our state is already spoken for, Pennsylvanian is truly up for grabs. And it comes down to who shows up," he said.

"What happens in the city and in those campuses will determine what happens in Pennsylvania and what happens in Pennsylvania will determine what happens in this country," said Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto.
Students feel they are making a difference getting others out to vote.
"Face to face contact has really made a big difference letting them know where their polling place is," said Eric Heckler.
"This is my first presidential election and I'm excited about it and others feel the same way," said Rylie Rainey.
De Blasio blasted Donald Trump for calling the FBI's latest email investigation the worst scandal since Watergate.
"It doesn't surprise me Donald Trump is making a big deal of it, that's because the American people are rejecting his message, he's grasping at whatever straws he can get," he said.
De Blasio calls the investigation much ado about nothing and says Hillary Clinton, "will survive."
