Girl, 3, Found On Snowy Roof Of Butler Home

BUTLER, Pa. (AP) - A 3-year-old girl found by a neighbor on a snowy roof is now living with a grandparent and her father may face endangerment charges.

Butler police have yet to publicly identify the girl or her father because their investigation is ongoing.

Neighbor Victor Gould says he saw the girl sitting in snow on her porch roof without shoes, socks or a diaper about 8:40 a.m. Sunday. Gould climbed up so he could help the girl off the icy roof.

Police say the girl was enthralled by the new-fallen snow - the first of the season - so she crawled out a second-floor window onto the roof.

Deputy police Chief David Adam says the girl's "dad had been up all night long gaming and heard nothing."
