Effort To Help Pittsburgh Woman's Fiance Left Paralyzed In Accident
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- There's an effort underway to help a woman from Pittsburgh whose bachelorette party took a terrible turn.
Meghan Alexander currently lives in Atlanta where she met her fiance, Brett.
The two had planned to get married in February and were celebrating a joint bachelor - bachelorette party in Florida last weekend.
Their friends say things were going great, until an accident sent Brett to the emergency room. The accident left him paralyzed from the neck down.
He's reportedly unable to move or breath on his own.
Meghan's friends here in Pittsburgh are now raising money to help pay for the couple's medical expenses.
