Highland Park Dam Search Called Off, Nothing Found
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police and river rescue crews spent much of Thursday evening searching the waters around the Highland Park Dam.
They were called out to the Allegheny River around 6 p.m. after reports of two kayaks possibly going over the dam.

However, after a few hours of searching, and no signs of any boaters, the search was called off.
The woman who first witnessed the incident said she may have mistaken some logs in the water for kayaks.
