MCKEES ROCKS (KDKA) – Police are investigating after two people were shot in McKees Rocks Wednesday night.

According to police, two men were shot in the 800 block of Frank Street - one man who was on his front porch and a second man who was standing on the sidewalk.

Brittany Edwards called 911.

"I was scared," Edwards told KDKA's Lisa Washington. "I was shook because I was right here in my living room and it sounded like the shots were like right here and I'm like, 'Oh my God, is that gunshots?'"

Police say both victims had non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators found shell casings from two different caliber weapons, leading them to believe there were two shooters.

"It almost sounded like they came from two different weapons," said Edwards, "but I don't know the details of that, or weapons, but I did hear them and they were really loud."

Police don't have a description of the suspects. One man who didn't want to talk on camera, says a bullet hit his car.

Edwards says she hasn't lived in the neighborhood long. This was the first time she's heard gunshots on her street.

"I've heard altercations and other stuff, but I work all day so I don't know what happens during the day," said Edwards, "but I've never seen anything like this."

Police are continuing their investigation.

Edwards added, "I hope they figure it out fast, because that was too close for my comfort."
