One Person Injured In South Park House Fire, Several Allegheny County Fire Crews Requested To Contain The Blaze

SOUTH PARK (KDKA) -- A fire in South Park kept Allegheny County fire crews busy early Sunday.

Dispatch tells KDKA that the crews were called to that house fire on Maple Drive around 2 a.m. Sunday. The Library Volunteer Fire Company, Pleasant Hills Volunteer Fire Company, Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Company, Finleyville Volunteer Fire Department, Jefferson Hills Fire Rescue: 885 Area Station, South Park Township Police Department and Tri-Community South EMS all responded to the fire on the second floor of the house.

All people inside the house were evacuated. One person was injured and was treated by medics.

The Red Cross is assisting the homeowner.
