The Pioneers scored on their first possession at Wheeling Island Stadium and cruised to a 35-0 shut-out of Keyser. The Golden Tornadoes offense averaged 40 points a game, but the Pioneers limited them to just 92 yards of total offense and finished 14-0. Brandon Spurlock ran for 144 yards on 13 carries, scored three touchdowns, and was named the game’s most valuable player.
