Have you been told that you should be in pictures? With more and more movies being made here in Pittsburgh, you don’t necessarily have to head to Hollywood to make it big on the big (or small) screen! But before you run out to the first agent you find, we have some advice on casting calls provided by the Pittsburgh Film Office. Never attend a casting call alone, and never pay for an audition. The production company is to pay you for your work. Sometimes extra work might be unpaid, but that should be mentioned in job postings. When in doubt, ask questions before signing on to do any work!
