Study Reviews Academic Benchmarks Of Cyber School Students
A Stanford University study of eight Pennsylvania cyber schools found that all of them performed significantly worse than traditional schools in math and reading. Of Pennsylvania’s 12 cyber charter schools, only three have made adequate yearly progress in the state evaluating tests — the PSSAs.
School Officials Prepare To Comply With New Concussion Law
Concussion was the topic of a meeting of more than 100 educators. Teachers, coaches, trainers and administrators are learning about the new state law that takes effect July 1st. The law says student athletes cannot play if they have concussion symptoms.
