Zackary Dawson has filed a lawsuit against California University of Pennsylvania claiming that he lost an opportunity to go from part-time instructor to full-time status at the school because of his guard duty.
Professor Claims University Fired Him Over National Guard Duty
A doctor who worked as a part-time professor at California University of Pennsylvania sued the state-owned school Thursday, saying he was illegally terminated because of time he missed fulfilling his service commitments to the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
Soldiers Return From Afghanistan, Reunite With Loved Ones
Nearly two dozen members of the Army National Guard returned to Pittsburgh from Afghanistan Friday night. The soldiers traveled 15 hours to get to Pittsburgh International Airport where loved ones were gathered.
