The Batmobile is coming back to Pittsburgh. Actually six of them, dating back to Adam West and the Batman TV series to the current Bat-Pod featured in the “Dark Knight” trilogy, will be on display outside Heinz Field this weekend.
A big crowd of onlookers gathered in Oakland today in hopes of catching a glimpse of Batman in action as filming continues for “The Dark Knight Rises.”
With pyrotechnics and snow in July, “Batman: The Dark Knight Rises” will transform Pittsburgh into Gotham City. As a matter of fact, actor Christian Bale was in Market Square just last night.
There’s no clearer sign of Batman’s arrival than the Bat signal shining brightly on the side of the Highmark Building downtown.
