MILWAUKEE (AP) — Corey Hart homered to lead off the ninth inning and lift the Milwaukee Brewers to a 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday night.

PITTSBURGH (AP) Mike Fiers pitched effectively into the seventh inning, Aramis Ramirez had a go-ahead three-run double in the seventh and the Milwaukee Brewers held on to win their fourth consecutive game, 6-5 over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday night.

Pirates Beat Brewers, 8-2 In Miller Park

Given the way the Milwaukee Brewers have bashed the Pittsburgh Pirates around at Miller Park in recent years, Kevin Correia acknowledged that there were times when even a big early lead might not have felt very safe. But a six-run third inning off Randy Wolf proved to be plenty Friday night, and the Pirates pounded the Brewers 8-2.
