Cornerback Ike Taylor broke his left thumb during the first quarter of the Steelers’ 16-7 preseason loss to the Washington Redskins on Friday night. Now, according to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Taylor will likely need to have surgery for the injury.

Taylor is an unrestricted free agent and until the lockout ends, he cannot talk with any team, the Steelers included. So KDKA-TV went down to Florida where Taylor spends his off-seasons working out to see if Ike wanted to be back in Pittsburgh once football resumes.
