Despite a late-game rally, the Penguins lost to the St. Louis Blues, 3-2 in overtime. Evgeni Malkin came through with two assists in the third – one on Steve Sullivan’s power play goal at 3:03 – the other on James Neal’s game-tying snap shot.

After a concussion knocked him out of the lineup for 61 games, Crosby came roaring back, tallying four points – two goals and two assists – as the Pens beat the New York Islanders, 5-0.
