School District Withdraws Court Action Against Grove City Family
The Grove City Area School District and the family of an 11-year old boy who has been absent numerous times this year have worked out an agreement. The district is no longer threatening to take the boy and his family to court.
Boy Battles Illness, Parents In Trouble Over His School Absences
Parents of a Mercer County child are upset because their son’s school has gone to court because of his repeated absences. Steve Zorbas and his wife blame their son’s absences on his health and say the school has long been aware of the problem.
