(93-7 The FAN) — Joel Hanrahan, Jeff Karstens, Evan Meek, Garrett Jones, Charlie Morton, Chris Resop and Casey McGehee were all arbitration eligible Monday night and all were tendered contracts.
The Pittsburgh Pirates have released some new details ahead of their annual PiratesFest celebration set for later this month. This year’s PiratesFest is set for the weekend of Dec. 16-18 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

It was a busy holiday weekend for the Pirates who went 3-2 in four days. They are now three games above .500, and we now know that their All-Star candidate will be Joel Hanrahan.
