Downtown Pittsburgh quickly made the transition from corporate Pittsburgh to race course shortly after 6 p.m. Friday as the city launched its first GNC Live Well Liberty Mile Race. Race organizers seemed to have a plan and the plan seemed to work, but downtown commuters and some businesses were caught off guard by the new event.
