It was one unexpected ride for those passengers abroad a Megabus from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh. The bus full of passengers arrived safely but for a while no one was sure how the journey would end.
A local pastor took control of a Megabus on the Pennsylvania Turnpike after the driver became ill Monday evening. James Grantz is a pastor at the City Reach Church on the North Side, but he’s also driven semi-trucks and buses.
A passenger’s quick actions helped prevent disaster from happening after a MegaBus driver became incapacitated behind the wheel.
While the Port Authority has slashed service by 15 percent, another bus company is expanding its service from Pittsburgh.
