A man was arrested Thursday just moments after his alleged bloody assault on a woman in Oakland.
A company that operates care homes in Pittsburgh is under scrutiny. Three residents have been charged with crimes in Shadyside and North Oakland. The suspects lived in two separate homes operated by Residential Care Services.
Two men have been charged in a rash of robberies in Oakland and police say they apparently used a BB gun during their spree. Pittsburgh police say some of the victims were students at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University.
Police are investigating an overnight shooting in Oakland that left one man injured.
