There is now closure for the family of a Westmoreland County woman who was killed when a power line fell on top of her in 2009.
A record-setting award has been handed down for the family of a Westmoreland County woman electrocuted when a power line fell on her. The jury awarded $109 million, which a judge says is the largest award in the history of Allegheny County.
Closing arguments were held Wednesday in a lawsuit against West Penn Power. The family of Carrie Goretzka is suing over a power line that fell on the woman and killed her in 2009.
