Medication Mix-Up Reported At Jefferson Regional Med. Center
Jefferson Regional Medical Center says that a medication labeled as the narcotic Oxycodone, actually contained a non-narcotic drug. The hospital says that a pharmacy technician who handled medication packaging in the hospital pharmacy substituted another medication for the narcotic. After an internal investigation the employee was fired.
