Local Catholic Schools Receive National Recognition
Pride and excitement filled the gymnasium today at Geibel Catholic High School in Connellsville. The Cardinal Newman Society just named Geibel Catholic as one of the nation’s top 50 Catholic high schools.
Oakland Catholic Policy Aims To Curb ‘Anti-Prom’ Attendance
The school enacted a policy intended to cut down on attendance of “anti-prom” – a non-school related event that was created in 2008 due to what some call overly strict rules regarding dress code and dancing for the school-sponsored prom.
