It may be summer in Pittsburgh, but it is winter in Gotham City. The Tumbler, director Christopher Nolan and a beautiful, snow-covered city street, “The Dark Knight Rises” crew moved downtown today for their last week and a half of filming in the city.
After filming in Lawrenceville, Oakland and at Heinz Field, crews working on “The Dark Knight Rises” are moving into downtown Pittsburgh today. The film crews have blocked off several streets and that could cause traffic chaos over the next few days.
Drivers in downtown Pittsburgh can expect to see some new road closures as the cast and crew of “The Dark Knight Rises” move into the heart of the city.
