Target says debit card PIN numbers may have, in fact, been stolen as part of a massive theft of debit and credit card information from customers who used their cards at Target between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15.
Target says customers’ encrypted PIN data was removed during the massive data breach that occurred earlier this month.
