An aging water main that was supposed to be replaced this week in Banksville couldn’t wait for repair crews. The line broke on its own Sunday sending thousands of gallons of water into the basements of helpless neighbors.
Two water main breaks have forced road closures in the area. According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, one of the breaks happened on Potomac Avenue in Banksville, while the other happened in Collier.
