State Constable Questioned, But Released After Fatal Homewood Shooting
William Jackson, Jr., a Pa. state constable, was taken into custody late Wednesday afternoon by Pittsburgh Police after he shot and killed a 42-year-old man in Homewood in what police call a domestic dispute.

A Fayette County man will be spending his Thanksgiving behind bars for not paying some outstanding fines. And when state constables went to pick him up, they found his dog fighting for its life outside. Hours later, the dog died.
