Three Rivers Arts Festival
With summer nearly here, it’s also almost time for the Three Rivers Arts Festival.
Summer is a great time for kids to jump right into all types of art activities. The Pittsburgh region is a great place to be engaged in art camps, crafts, painting and pottery classes. There are a host of art centers, art studios and museums to learn all aspects of the art world, and have fun at the same time. Festivals and art shows provide an educational experience to learn about the techniques of the artisans.
There are some new opportunities for artists and this year’s Three Rivers Arts Festival.
The Pirates game on the North Shore was not the only thing going on in Pittsburgh Saturday night. The 2012 Pride in the Street Festival was held on Liberty Avenue downtown between 9th and 10th Streets.
One of the biggest weekends of the summer is underway in Pittsburgh. Plenty of events to pack the Golden Triangle and the North Shore and it could make getting around difficult.
The Three Rivers Arts Festival kicked off Friday afternoon in Downtown Pittsburgh.
The Three Rivers Arts festival is known for its food. While the experience is not quite the same as sitting down in your favorite restaurant, food vendors still have to uphold the same strict health standards.
With the Three Rivers Arts Festival less than 24 hours away crews are in motion. They’re putting up tents, tables and stages all over Point State Park, Gateway Center and throughout the Cultural District.
The annual Three Rivers Arts Festival is back for another year.
