(93-7 The FAN/AP) — Roloson made 33 saves, Vincent Lecavalier had two goals and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Penguins 4-1 on Thursday night.
The Penguins were unable to solve the Tampa Bay Lightning, losing 4-1 Thursday night. The Pens were dominated throughout the game. While the Pens out-shot the Lightning 34-18, they failed to convert on seven power play opportunities.
Thanks to the quick start and gutsy performance of players like Max Talbot, Tyler Kennedy and a steady net presence by Marc-Andry Fleury for a much needed Game 3 win, the Pens find themselve just two more like it away from a date with the second round of Lord Stanley’s playoffs.
