A man convicted of killing and dismembering another man will spend the rest of his life behind bars. Vito Pelino of Penn Hills was sentenced today. Police say he stabbed William King to death, cut up his body and dumped the parts along a road in Plum in February of 2011.
Family and friends gathered Saturday in East Liberty to mourn the loss of a young man from Penn Hills who was murdered last month. Funeral services were held for 23-year-old William King at the Mount Ararat Baptist Church this morning.
A memorial spaghetti dinner was held in the basement of a Penn Hills church for the family of a man whose body was found dismembered. William King’s mutilated and decapitated body was discovered last month in Plum Borough, several days after the 23-year-old was reported missing.
