Fired City Employee Charged With Theft
A city employee who was fired has now been arrested. Matt Hogue, 31, used city funds to buy $10,000 in chainsaws and weed whackers and then reported them stolen.

Over the past 12 months, someone from the city purchased more than $10,000 of weed whackers and chainsaws from the Jefferson Hills Lawn and Equipment using city purchase orders.
