A variety of weather elements will affect the Pittsburgh area Tuesday. According to KDKA-TV Meteorologist Dennis Bowman, periods of rain and drizzle will move through from time to time.
Strong winds caused some serious damage at the Three Rivers Arts Festival today. It was so bad that officials had to stop the festival for part of the afternoon, and some vendors’ art work was destroyed.
Wet weather will be coming and going in waves throughout the day Wednesday. There will be some breaks of sun from time to time, which will only serve to add extra fuel to thunderstorm development.
A strong line of thunderstorms will move into the Pittsburgh area Monday afternoon. According to the National Weather Service, the line of storms is expected to arrive in Pittsburgh between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
