Admit it. You love karaoke – and you’re not alone. In the Pittsburgh area, you can find it any night of the week. We’ve compiled a list of some of the best places to rock out.

Nico’s Recovery Room

Located in Pittsburgh’s “Little Italy,” Nico’s Recovery Room is the place to be on Saturday nights. The restaurant, which serves Greek and Mediterranean dishes, is a neighborhood favorite and was voted as “Best Karaoke Bar” two years in a row (2008, 2009) by readers of Pittsburgh’s City Paper.

Duke’s Station, known for its ribs, is also famous for its night life. The restaurant has karaoke seven nights a week from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. and on Mondays they have comedy too. Making Pittsburgh Magazine’s “Best of the ‘Burgh” list in 2010, Duke’s is a place worth checking out.

A hit with the college crowd, Mario’s on the South Side is always packed on the weekends. But on Tuesdays from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., you can grab the mic and showcase your singing skills. Dante’s Restaurant & Lounge

Dante’s is known for its big portions and reasonable prices – and every night Wednesday through Saturday starting at 9:30 p.m. – it’s karaoke central. The lounge has a dance floor complete with a disco ball. The menu is packed with Greek, Italian and American fare, so you can eat – and sing – your heart out.

Lava Lounge Martini Bar & Dance Club

So you’ve had a long week working in the city and you’re ready for the weekend. Give happy hour at Lava Lounge Martini Bar & Dance Club a shot. Karaoke begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. every Friday so you can wait out the rush hour traffic and have some fun!

    I think you should try out the Wheel In Bridgeville on Saturday! Great atmostphere with even better DJ’s! They know how to get the crowd going, and everyone always has a good time. Remember…it’s only karaoke.

    you should try fat eddies in ambridge they have the best karaoke outside of the burgh tuesdays and thursdays plays video clips too.

    The Goodtme Bar in millivale excellent karaoke & a definate good time! Excellent reassonably priced food too!

    Tramps in the west end has a great karaoke tuesday and sat, chris gets the crowd into it, voted best karaoke by, you must see the show!!

    Try Pizza Daddy’s in Gibsonia. They have great karaoke every Friday night and the crowd really gets into it. Great food there and a awesome beer selection too!

    Second that emotion. Cappy’s on Walnut Street in Shadyside has karaoke on Friday nights. It’s called Cappyoke. Lots of pretty girls and not too many lousy singers. Tell ’em Beantown sent ya.

    wireless mics, sounds great, words are on a big screen, the dj keeps the crowd into it and the people have a great time dancing and singing. Definitely the place to be on Saturday night if you like karaoke.
