It’s time to show some love and appreciation to that special lady you call “Mom.” If you’re looking to take her out for a special meal this Mother’s Day, why not try brunch. Whirl Magazine’s executive editor, Victoria Bradley, says “Mother’s Day is THE brunch holiday.” She offered up her top five spots in and around the Pittsburgh area to take mom.

“If you have a big family like me, you’re going to head out to Canonsburg,” says Bradley. “They can accommodate a family of any size. There’s a carving station, there’s a dessert station, there’s a soup station.” She says it starts at just $35 a person.

According to their website, Bistro 19 – located in Mount Lebanon – “strives to provide an incomparable dining experience, using the freshest, locally grown, seasonal ingredients.” Bradley recommends the Bananas Foster Pancakes! She says they also have seven alternatives to the classic mimosa and eight different specialty coffee drinks.
